The suspect was sought for his alleged role in the Thursday shooting death of Ricky Burton, 29. Sunday morning, a nearby resident called authorities to report what they thought was a body in the canal. Upon their arrival, deputies found the suspect’s body, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman said.
